aw man, that "mark" clip was hot. you know i loved the bossa nova playing as they woke up, too.

definitely not an advocate of bruhs on the "dl" (deceitful living) as i've encountered too many dudes who wanted me as their male piece with full knowledge of the female they were involved with, yet she couldn't know about me. i gots too much respect for the sisters to play that game. still, it seems like a quality show and i'm intrigued by this clip.

guess i'm hungry for all the representations of black gay masculinity i can get. (sorry, noah...just not into the ascots and chokers).

Ditto with not being an advocate of brothers on the dl. The sisters deserve better. For that matter, a brother who is living his life open before an intimate inner circle of friends and family deserves better than creeping around in the shadows.

lol@ascots and chokers comment!! LOL!!!

I want to see that movie. I need to see it now. The finding me trailer looked soooo soooo good. I would seriously let my nephew sit down and watch that with me. (he is 18)

The other clip was cute.

DD,
I wish I could give you a date for Finding Me. Interesting how there is a market for black on black gay screen stories supported by so many straight sisters like you and gay brothers. And yet, there are so few works being released covering such materials.

FINDING ME's director is to be praised for filling such a niche in cinema. With the paucity of black on black gay love stories/life stories, it's a shame so few other black gay directors aren't following his example.

Of course, within the gay community, there is always a problem with images of brothers loving brothers. Many black gay writers/directors will sooner sell out to cater to white gay men as they claim artistic integrity.

When films and black actors playing gay come along like in FINDING ME, I want to praise and draw attention to them using the best of my resources.
